Margen Productions is a videography and photography studio based in Angier, NC, serving Johnston County and the greater Central NC area. We work with small businesses, local brands, and individuals who are serious about how they show up visually.
The studio is run by Mike — an Angier-based videographer and photographer who grabbed his dad's camcorder as a kid, pointed it at everything Star Wars-adjacent he could find, and never really put it down. Over the years, a love of capturing moments turned into a genuine craft, and a craft turned into a business. These days, Mike shoots both video and photo for clients across Central NC — but if you ask him, video has his heart. Photos freeze a moment. Video brings it back to life: the sound, the motion, the feeling of actually being there. He thinks of it as living memory, and that philosophy shapes every project he takes on.
Every project starts the same way: figuring out the goal before picking up the camera. We think about platforms, audiences, and what needs to happen after someone sees your content. The result is work you're proud to put out there.
Margen Productions is a small studio on purpose. Every client works directly with Mike — not a coordinator, not a hand-off. You get the same person in the planning call as you do on shoot day.
